80 year old Carmen Dell'Orefice, who was born and raised in NYC is the model with the longest career in the world.
Like fine wine, this model only improves with time.
Her first cover was for Vogue at the age of 15 years, the German photographer Irwin Blumenfeld discovered at age 13 and the cover was made in 1947.

Diana Vreeland supported her career since the beginning, she was also a great friend and muse of Salvador Dalí until the artist's death.
Carmen participated with Woody Allen in the films Celebrity and the Jade Scorpion

She never dyed her hair because she believes that there are any beauty secrets, you should just be natural, drink water and eat healthy.
This madam has worked for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Alberta Ferreti, Vittadini, Isaac Mizrahi, Cho Cheng, Palacio de Hierro, Neiman Marcus and as Coco´s favourite model, as Chanel No.5 image in 1968.

In my opinión she's a beautiful and elegant lady, who should be an example for all of those who think beauty ends after the 30´s.
