Beauty: 2-Braids Summer Updo
I used to braid my hair all the time back when I had my long waves. Not only because braids are beautiful and my beloved grandmother passed me that tradition after spending hours and hours braiding my hair in infinite ways, but because it was a good way to put my hair in place when I wanted to mix up the routine, overslept or simply felt like I needed it out of my face. However, this make over left me with little options to braid it. The first couple of months I couldn't even do a ponytail but now that it is a bit longer I thought about giving braids a try again with a very fresh updo perfect for summer. For every event where you want a messy look (Like in the D&G runways...) or every day of the week to look casually neat.
Yo me peinaba con trenzas todo el tiempo. No solo porque me parecen hermosas y me recuerdan a mi abuela, que solía pasar horas trenzándome el cabello de mil y un formas diferentes (Trenzas francesas, alemanas, de pescado, dobles, triples.. etc.)Sino por comodidad. Al tener el cabello hasta la cintura, la forma más sencilla y bonita de mantenerlo bajo control o peinarlo cuando decidia quedarme cinco minutos más en la cama. Sin embargo el cabello corto me ha quitado muchas opciones para recogerlo. Los primeros meses no podía ni hacerme una coleta, pero ahora que ha crecido quiero intentar algunos estilos para los que antes tenía DEMASIADO cabello. Así que para librarme de tenerlo en la cara y hacerme un peinado ideal para este calor se me ocurrio este "recogido" o Updo de dos trenzas que es muy fresco y esta lindísimo para cualquier evento, como look desenfadado de noche, o cualquier día entre semana para verte casualmente arreglada y pulcra.

Van a necesitar...
-Mousse
-Comb/peine
-Elastics/liguitas
-Bobby pins/pasadores
Take the comb and separate your entire mane in two sections.
Toma el peine y separa toda tu melena a la mitad.
Once you've done that take some mouse and apply all over your hair, so when it dries and you are done there are no little hairs sticking out of the updo.
Ya que hiciste eso toma el mouse y aplicalo en todo el cabello, así será mas fácil manejarlo y una vez que termines y se seque no quedaran pelitos sueltos. Uso mouse porque el gel queda duro y el mouse es siempre mucho más natural.
Grab 3 strings of hair from the top of the first half and start doing a french braid.
Toma tres secciones de arriba de una de las mitades y empieza a trenzar una trenza (valga la redundancia) francesa.
When you finish the first half, grab an elastic and seal it.
Cuando termines toma una liguita y amarra.
And there you'll have the first half.
Y así te va a quedar la primera mitad.
Do the same wih the other side.
Haz lo mismo con el otro lado.
In the end you should achieve to perfectly unperfect braids. It's ok that they are messy... I tend to be uptight when it comes to hair but it looks lovely and fun when loosen up.
Al final te deben de quedar dos perfectas trenzas imperfectas. Esta bien que se vean desarregladas, la verdad es que yo tiendo a ser medio apretada en cuanto al cabello, pero después de un rato lo empiezo a mover para que se afloje un poco y se vea mas relajado y divertido
Grab the end of the right braid and place it over the left one with a Bobby pin.
Toma la colita de la trenza derecha y sujetala con un pasador sobre la trenza izquierda.
Do the same with the other one...
Haz lo mismo con la otra...
Once you've done that stick the remaining end into the braids and you are finished!
Ya que hayas hecho eso, mete el cabello sobrante a las trenzas y sujetalas con pasadores para que no se muevan.. y LISTO!
