Taking as frame Linlithgow Palace, the Scottish castle dating from 1424 where Mary of Scotland was born and raised, the german designer Karl Lagerfeld presented the ready to wear Pre-Fall 2012/2013 collection.

The top model Stella Tennant and Karl

This time Métiers d'Arts, is inspired by the years Coco Chanel spent with her lover the Duke of Westminster in Scotland. It also pays homage to the artisans who work in the Maison de couture. Workshop leaders, embroiderers, shoemakers, glovers and hatters.

The brand's iconic tweed together with cashmere, wool and tartan print were the stars of the runway.
My favorite details were the argyle socks, the berets, woven scarves and hats witch gave a chic/urban flair to all the looks.

One of the most important statements the fashions Kaiser did, were the ballon-cut skirts which as he dictated are back for the season !

Here this wonderful show:

My favourites:

Victorian necks, I can see myself wearing these

Nothing like a beauty in white

Tartan Glamour, the best option for Winter

I love these ensemble, but mostly the feather fedora

2 Handsome gentlemen

Absolutely gorgeous and elegant hairstyles

Fringes and a beautiful scarf

Oversized... the bigger the better !

A chanel camellia, an argyle sweater and a tartan skirt.
What else do you need?

I trully loved this collection, because it is elegant, classy , urban, chic, stylish and above all full of details which make it different and therefore desirable.
